French-Australian I live and work in Perth, Western Australia since 2005. I grew up in a artist family environment where my father was a painter. As a early drawer and painter myself, I successfully entered the Beaux-Arts school at seventeen years of age.
I obtained my DNSEP in 1989, comparable to a Master of Arts in Australia. In 1993, I received a diploma from the prestigious Institut Français de la Mode. My artist career started with the 1997 winner prize of the Paris Salon de la Jeune Création.
Based in Paris, my early work explored new concepts and interpretations of the photographic medium. I then used triptychs and diptychs, image/text combinations, unexpected supports, frames or back-lit boxes to perform mechanisms such as synaesthetic phenomenon.
Since I relocated to Perth, Australia in 2005, my photography has radically evolved to a more traditional approach to the medium. In search of my identity, my latest work articulates perception and interpretation of our social, cultural and material affiliation.
