I love painting and have loved art all my life. I paint because I relish the creation and enjoy the outlet it provides. So therapeutic! There’s such a sense of satisfaction finishing a painting for my wall - or better still, your wall - though it is never really done until it is sealed 😉.
I thrive on lots of colour and that is reflected in my work. To my eye the success of my work is a kaleidoscope of colour and pattern that works together. The colour and composition of a piece is an organic process for me, even a sketched composition and predetermined colours turns into an intuitive, changing process. There is not one painting that hasn’t had a colour change; multiple layers is part of the charm!
