Artwork Description

A quiet moment between tides. A fisherman sits repairing his net, moving at the slow rhythm of coastal life. Soft pink tones and simple brushwork capture the calm, patient moments that unfold along working harbours.

Artist Bio

Hi! I’m Kristie, a coastal painter and visual storyteller. I create bold, nostalgic artworks that reflect the humour, character, and connection of life by the sea. My work combines sun-bleached pastels with sharp pops of fluro, loose brushwork and figures with personality.

I’m inspired by the colours and culture of Australia’s East Coast, especially around Byron Bay, Tweed, and the Southern Gold Coast. My palette leans on vintage beach tones, layered textures, and the light of long summer days.

My work resonates with ocean lovers, collectors, creatives, and anyone who feels connected to the coast.
