Artwork Description

I wanted to do a painting with predominately red hues continuing on with my favourite glass jug. It is filled with water and adorned with sliced passion fruit. The jug's transparency reflects the red colour of the table cloth, creating an interplay of light and shadow. Above the Welcome Swallow soars in mid-flight towards a blue potted Sanseveria Trifasciata plant, adding an earthy foliage of green to the scene.
