“Beyond the Shadows” is an immersive abstract composition that draws the viewer deep into a dreamlike rainforest atmosphere. The artwork is dominated by rich shades of emerald green, teal, and deep sapphire blue, layered fluidly to evoke the dappled interplay of light and shadow beneath a dense jungle canopy.
A delicate veil of transparent white drifts across the surface like a soft mist, creating an ethereal sense of depth and concealment, as though a fine drizzle has just fallen, blurring edges and revealing hidden textures beneath. This translucent layer both conceals and connects the forms below, suggesting mystery and renewal.
Hints of lighter turquoise and mossy tones emerge from the darker under layers , capturing the sense of life thriving in obscurity. The interplay between opacity and transparency invites contemplation, evoking the sensation of moving “Beyond the Shadows” into a tranquil, living mist , a meditative space where nature and abstraction merge in quiet harmony.
This artwork is an original painting, I use artist grade acrylic paints, and high quality archival satin varnish to produce a beautiful subtle sheen and provide UV protection.
Each artwork has a hanging wire fitted.
The detailed technique used to create this artwork produces a soft textural element which adds depth and intricate details.
