“Hidden Path” evokes the experience of wandering through a rainforest where familiar routes dissolve into layers of colour, light, and memory. Rich turquoise and verdant greens suggest dense foliage and flowing water, while flashes of warm orange and burnt sienna emerge like fleeting glimpses of sunlight, tropical blooms, or unseen life within the canopy. Random etched lines traverse the surface, echoing tangled vines, natural markings, and the instinctive pathways discovered while moving through wild terrain. Balancing spontaneity with reflection, the work invites viewers to immerse themselves in a landscape that is both physical and imagined, where every turn reveals a new possibility.
This artwork is an original painting, I use artist grade acrylic paints, and high quality archival satin varnish to produce a beautiful subtle sheen and provide UV protection.
Each artwork has a hanging wire fitted.
The detailed technique used to create this artwork produces a soft textural element which adds depth and intricate details.
