Would you like to have a similar painting on your wall?
I believe that by working collaboratively with my clients, we can create a piece that not only fits their vision but also captures their heart. The end result is a beautiful, tailored artwork that you will fall in love with and cherish for years to come.
.
Choose Your Size
Whether you're looking for a statement piece or something small and subtle, I can help you find the perfect size for your space. If you are not sure about a size of your artwork I can create a mock-up of the painting on your wall.
.
Select Your Colour palette
You can browse my previous works to get an idea of my colour style and let me know which ones you love. However, I would be happy to work with any colour palette you desire.
.
Pick Your Favourite Style
To help me understand your style and colour preferences, please share 2-3 pieces from my art gallery that you love. You can view my sold gallery or all available artworks. This will give me an idea of your preferred style and help me create a custom artwork that is perfectly suited to your taste.
.
Float External Frame
Some of my canvases are ordered with a float frame, usually the most popular is a Tasmanian oak frame. If you prefer to frame the piece once the painting is finished, I can assist you in organising a custom frame or you can choose to arrange framing yourself.
Remember, framing is completely optional and it all comes down to your personal taste. Whether you choose to have your piece framed or not, it will look beautiful on its own.
.
Pricing
Cost for the commissioned piece depends on the size, style and complexity of the theme. If you like any of my sold pieces I’m more than happy to recreate similar to your own preference.
.
Timeline
The timeframe for each artwork varies based on its medium and size. For acrylic paintings, the timeframe is typically between 4 to 8 weeks, whereas for oil paintings, it can take between 9 to 13 weeks. While oil paintings take longer due to the necessary drying time between each layer, the waiting period is an essential part of the process, and patience is crucial to ensure the best results.

Artist Bio

Kristyna Dostalova is a Czech artist currently based in Melbourne whose works have been featured in several exhibitions nationally.Kristyna's journey in the art world has been a colourful and ever-evolving one. She is deeply passionate about expressing herself and connecting with people through her art. Each brushstroke and stroke of color that Kristyna applies to canvas is an intimate window into her soul. Her ultimate goal is to evoke emotions and make her audience feel the same way she does when she creates her paintings.

For Kristyna, art is a way of sharing her thoughts, emotions, and desires with the world. She is constantly experimenting with new mediums and techniques to find the perfect way to bring her innermost feelings to life. Kristyna's medium of choice is oil or acrylics on canvas because the textures and viscerality of the paint bring her emotions to life in a way that nothing else can.

Kristyna's style is often described as abstract. When she paints an abstract piece, she finds herself diving deep into the colors and textures without any regard to what she is "supposed" to do. There is no right or wrong; it's all about freedom, and she follows her hand and what it does next. Kristyna doesn't overthink it and just enjoys the ride. However, she doesn't define herself solely as an abstract artist because she loves to paint anything that inspires her.

Kristyna is entirely self-taught and has been honing her craft since she was a child growing up in a small mining town in the Czech Republic. Her hometown was a depressing and drab place with repetitive grey buildings, and she found solace in creating colorful pieces of art as a way to escape the dreariness of her surroundings. Kristyna's mother recognized her talent and encouraged her to continue by signing her up for junior art school. Although she continued to paint recreationally as a teenager, Kristyna never thought that she would be able to pursue it as a professional career.

However, everything changed when Kristyna moved to Australia in 2013. The rich landscapes, vibrant flora, and diverse fauna of this country awakened something in her, and she began to pour out this inspiration onto canvas. It was as if the colors and beauty of Australia finally gave her the permission to fully embrace her passion for art.

Kristyna's current work is primarily inspired by her move to Sydney three years ago. Her artworks focus on places that she has been fortunate enough to visit or connect with, and they explore the flora and fauna of an incredibly unique place. The vibrant colours and alternate perspectives of these locations are reflective of Kristyna's journey in Sydney and her ongoing desire to experience the world around her.

"I love to express myself and speak to people through my art. I try to evoke emotions and make them feel as I feel, when I create the artwork.

Creating art is an expression of my thoughts, emotions and desires. It’s about sharing the way I experience the world."
