Blue Ferns

I was painting a magpie! I looked at the canvas and just grabbed the blues and greens and painted over the magpie and this painting drew life right beneath my hands. I was totally lost in the creation and worked on it until it was completely finished. Weird? Sometimes inspiration hits me at the weirdest times and I just have to get it out. In this case the inspiration was the colours, which were in front of me on the easel. Love it!
The sides are painted to match the main artwork.
