Artwork Description

I'm thrilled to share my latest abstract journey with you. This piece is really close to my heart because it helped me find a joyful solitude in the act of creation. Imagine stunning golds, beautiful pale blues, soft yellows, and a lovely splash of turquoise dancing together on the canvas. These colours are my celebration of light and hope.

You'll notice my signature touch in the form of abstract wrecked ships. They might look like they're caught in chaos, but to me, they symbolize resilience and the beauty of rising from life's wreckage. My own voyage through illness and pain has taught me to see strength in the broken and joy in the journey.

I like to think of my art as a conversation between colours and emotions—a space where I explore and express the vibrant dance between struggle and triumph.

Artist Bio

I'm Julie, an artist living in beautiful Hervey Bay. My art journey is all about capturing the essence of everyday moments and the wonders of nature that surround us. I find inspiration in the little things – from the way sunlight filters through leaves to the calming rhythm of the ocean waves.

Every painting I create is a piece of my soul and heart laid bare. I don’t plan too much; I just paint what moves me on that particular day. It’s a very personal process, and I paint primarily for myself, but knowing that my work has found homes around the world is a feeling like no other.

I love that my pieces resonate with others and bring a touch of Hervey Bay’s beauty and my own perspective into their lives. So, welcome to my world – I hope you find a bit of your own story in my art.
