Magpie Robin on Branch

Couldn't resist painting this fellow, although not an Aussie magpie, he is a magpie robin. The warmth of the background is so beautiful with the golds, burnt umber and greens melding in with the black to form a very soft and beautiful backdrop for this sweet little bird. One of the largest bird painting of have done. Just love it!
