Rainbow Lorikeet

Another in my little mini canvas series of 10" x 8". I adore the bright colours of the Lorikeets who come into my garden and entertain me almost every day. I have been lucky enough to snap tons of photos of them and this is from one. He was feeding off the Agave Flower.

I'm Julie, an artist living in beautiful Hervey Bay. My art journey is all about capturing the essence of everyday moments and the wonders of nature that surround us. I find inspiration in the little things – from the way sunlight filters through leaves to the calming rhythm of the ocean waves.

Every painting I create is a piece of my soul and heart laid bare. I don’t plan too much; I just paint what moves me on that particular day. It’s a very personal process, and I paint primarily for myself, but knowing that my work has found homes around the world is a feeling like no other.
