Artwork Description

In the quiet embrace of minimalism, my canvas becomes a sanctuary for the delicate and the ephemeral. I find solace in the fragile whispers of abstract forms. My work is a dance between the seen and the unseen, where each brushstroke is a gentle caress of the soul.

I drew inspiration from the tender balance of fragility and strength, capturing moments that teeter on the edge of existence. The background of my paintings carries the subtle texture of sand, a reminder of nature’s transient beauty, while the monochrome palette of black and white provides a stark contrast—a testament to the duality of life.

Amidst this interplay, a touch of gold weaves through my work, a glimmer of hope and resilience amidst the shadows. It's a thread of light, a whisper of warmth that echoes the timeless dance of love and impermanence.

Artist Bio

I'm Julie, an artist living in beautiful Hervey Bay. My art journey is all about capturing the essence of everyday moments and the wonders of nature that surround us. I find inspiration in the little things – from the way sunlight filters through leaves to the calming rhythm of the ocean waves.

Every painting I create is a piece of my soul and heart laid bare. I don’t plan too much; I just paint what moves me on that particular day. It’s a very personal process, and I paint primarily for myself, but knowing that my work has found homes around the world is a feeling like no other.

I love that my pieces resonate with others and bring a touch of Hervey Bay’s beauty and my own perspective into their lives. So, welcome to my world – I hope you find a bit of your own story in my art.
