Mother Tree

This one was so far out of my comfort zone using a warmer toned pallete but she has been so well received thus far.
It's lovely to see all of the different elements of my work over the years with realism, swirls insects and orbs coalesce into something organic and beautiful. The work pays off and the little appreciations of this world we adore overlap consistently through our explorations of life.
Mother Tree is the protector, the exchange of energy transforming souls and growing new life. Setting souls free from the top of the tree to go out and explore the world. The energy lines emanating from the top of the face overlap and invert at the top of the painting and release orbs also.
The image is cropped for a smaller resolution.
This piece has no initial direction outside of the face flowing in water when paint first touched the canvas, it is one piece I am proud to say came from no external influence and evolved on canvas freely.
