Artwork Description

Where Fire Passed by Kylie Daniel
Mixed media on canvas

This painting captures the quiet aftermath of a back burn—where fire has swept through and left the land bare, blackened, and exposed.

The bottom half shows scorched earth, charred remnants, and the deep tones of disturbed soil, while above, a creamy, blended sky stretches across the canvas in soft contrast.

Where Fire Passed reflects on nature’s cycle of renewal, holding space for both destruction and calm—what’s left behind, and what comes next.

This artwork might be smally but its packed with my signature heavy texture and rich earthy tones.

A stunning artwork to enhance a moody mantle piece, or a corner space, above a desk, or any small small area that just need that little "something something".

This stunning artwork has been framed in a camphor laurel shadow box frame and bears that familiar smell and coloured to compliment the earthiness of the piece. Taking this piece to a whole new dimension.
