Artwork Description

I had a mix of colors in mind for the background that turned out okay, but then I was wondering what to paint in front of it. Trees are a common addition to all of my art. The small waterfall was a last-minute idea. My signature is a K in the lower right-hand corner. On the back of the canvas wood is my name, the title and year this one was painted.

Artist Bio

I am an amateur artist, looking for ways to sell my paintings. I often use acrylic paints and permanent, paint or metallic markers. My inspiration comes from watching art videos to see how different techniques produce the required affect that I am after with my own artwork. I mostly paint sceneries off the top of my head. It can be very hit and miss at times. For every successfully complete artwork, there are quite a few that did not 'survive'. I don't always use the usual colors you would see out in real life nature, which I think makes it a bit more fun. I love sunsets, moonlight and waterfalls in particular. Trees are nearly always involved somewhere. Abstract art is something I've had a go at and there may be more paintings like that in the near future. As much as I enjoy the painting process (and I really do), it would be awesome to have this turn into more than a simple hobby. (FYI: I put my mobile number on my profile, but I've made a habit of not answering unfamiliar numbers, so let me know via text or email who you are, if you wish to buy anything.) Also, if the artwork size is too small for whichever one you choose, I can paint it on larger canvases if need be.
