The collection adopts a visual storytelling methodology, capturing the landscapes’ emotions rather than physicality, revealing the lasting, lingering moments. The ones that call you back. Or take your breath away. As an exploration of space, in the midst of chaos, the artworks are a step back from the madness of our reality. The series is a chance to be transported out of our living rooms and homes, especially in a time where we are unable to. We are craving the magic. Art becomes an escape.

Lachlan Garutti is an explorer, filmmaker and nature photographer from North Queensland in regional Australia. Lachlan focuses his work around wildlife and dramatic landscapes that are often far off the beaten track. He spends a lot of time travelling throughout the year, which often takes him to some of the most beautiful parts of the earth. These locations are filled with an abundance of nature and unique wildlife. He is fascinated and inspired by these remote places and portrays them through his lens, one photograph at a time.
