I'm Lahi Poddalgoda from Sri Lanka, creating locally in Richmond, Victoria.
I'm interested in exploring how art connects to narratives of conversations we have with people in our lives and ourselves. Through illustrations and acrylic paintings, storytelling focused on bold and beautiful color schemes I'm showcasing my art drawing from my childhood in Sri Lanka spent travelling from the foothills of my beautiful hometown Kandy to the sandy beaches of the southern coast and my experiences travelling far from home as a teenager, indulging in culture and the arts finding a new home here in Melbourne Australia.
I'm a member of the Burning Bridges arts collective and BadArt collective, creating in my studio and gallery on Bridge Road in Richmond which you can visit by appointment
