Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This piece was started up in the hills near to the Lockyer National Park. My aim was to capture the swing and sway of the trees and grass, and the colours so vibrant in the springtime sun. I used a deeply textured paint surface created by spraying and dripping paint onto the canvas before beginning. This allows layering by dragging the brush over the surface which allows the lower sections to show through, which makes for deep and complex colour variations.
I am happy with how the composition really shows the chaos and order combined of a wild natural space.
