A revisit of this striking colour palette, which sometimes I worry might be a little too bold, but I feel it fits perfectly with the dynamic movement of the clouds depicted. In this painting we see a distant coast, hilly and dark, as the sun sets in a streak of bright orange and pink. For that brief moment, the sky becomes ablaze, and we know that not more than a few minutes later, the sun will set and all will be dark.
