I spent many years traveling around NSW, and I've been lucky to have seen some beautiful and varied environments that have inspired my art. In this pastel painting, I portray a sudden and violent desert storm, which I believe is one of the most beautiful of phenomenons.

The mixture of softly blended pastels and more textured strokes sculpt the clouds and give them a texture and life.
