This is "Motion", an original oil painting on rolled canvas by me, Australian artist Lana Zueva. It measures 200 x 140 cm (about 79 x 55 inches), a very large landscape-format piece. It is oil on rolled canvas, shipped rolled in a tube, unstretched, ready to be stretched or framed locally. It has no stretcher bars, no frame and no hanging wire.
Soft sage green, teal and pale aqua flow across the canvas in layers of fine, wave-like lines that look like wind through reeds or currents moving through water. You can see the lines sweep and overlap in the detail, giving the surface depth and a gentle sense of movement. The mood is calm, airy and meditative.
This is a large-scale abstract painting with an organic, textured and minimalist feel. It suits buyers who love calming green and teal abstract art, nature-inspired pieces and big statement art for a feature wall, and who are happy to stretch or frame the canvas to their own taste.
It would look beautiful in a large living room, open-plan space, bedroom, office or spa-style retreat. If you are searching for a large calming green painting for above my sofa, an abstract nature painting for a coastal or Scandinavian-style home, or a statement piece for a new build, this one could be a good match.
Signed by the artist and shipped with care from Australia. Each painting arrives with a handwritten note from me.
