Commissions are welcome — I create custom pieces in a range of sizes and color palettes to suit your space.
This body of work was born after my recent travels to Vietnam, where I visited the Trúc Lâm Zen Monastery. Walking through its quiet paths and observing the discipline of Zen practice, I became deeply aware of how movement itself can create stillness — how a single gesture, repeated with presence, becomes form.
These paintings are inspired by the philosophy of Zen and the quiet beauty of wabi sabi — the acceptance of imperfection, impermanence and natural flow. Each work is created through a slow, meditative process where layered lines build organic landscapes that feel both abstract and elemental.
The technique I use requires an extended drying process. The surface must rest between stages, allowing time to shape the final structure. This slow method mirrors the philosophy behind the work — patience, breath, and intention.
Every painting in this series represents an elemental presence — earth, water, fire, air or sky. Some feel grounded and geological, others fluid and atmospheric. The viewer is invited to find their own interpretation within the movement.
More works from this series are currently in progress and will be released soon.
These artworks are designed for collectors who appreciate contemporary abstract art, textured surfaces, meditative interiors, and meaningful statement pieces.
