Gum ‘Nut’

Inspired by the abundance of nature around my home in parks and gardens, Gum 'Nut' is a
deconstructivist take on the koala and eucalyptus tree. The iconic duo is represented with
an eclectic mix of flat geometries and expressive brushwork, layered impasto and subtle
stippling.

This is where I get to share a little bit about myself.
I started doing art when I was a child.
I have no formal art qualification, just a love for creating artwork.
I work mainly in watercolour and acrylics. I enjoy paying attention to detail and using clean lines, producing paintings that are both serene and pleasing.
I share my passion for art and creativity with my own children by creating an art- rich environment.
I have established a successful art school (Arty Start) in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, where I teach literacy inspired art to children.
