Throughout my practice I continue to revisit the circle shape; a gesture of time, continuation, cyclicality, unity and wholeness. In Apollo II, the layering of rich dark circles is suggestive of a solar eclipse, the rich dark circle reminiscent of the moon, strong and heavy in the night sky.
