Artwork Description

This landscape is inspired by my love of travel, and painted in my favourite blue and green palette. It is loosely based on the coastal views of Ireland, complete with white houses and stone walls.

My art is influenced by the landscapes around us and the beauty we find in travel, gardens and the nature on our doorstep. I love to work in a variety of styles and mediums including this work in acrylic, but also in oil pastels.

Lara is a self-taught artist, who has a deep love of travel and nature, she has been exploring these subjects through her art. Currently working with mostly oil pastels and acrylic, her art is always evolving.

She is currently based in Canberra after time in the Netherlands, UK and Sydney. She incorporates the surrounding hills, her garden and her travels into her pieces.
