This landscape is one in a series of paintings inspired by my love of travel, and painted in a brighter palette, giving it an almost fauvist feel. It is loosely influenced on the coastal views of the Irish coast near Galway.
My art is influenced by the landscapes around us and the beauty we find in travel, gardens and the nature on our doorstep. I love to work in a variety of styles and mediums including this work in acrylic, but also in oil pastels.
