Shadowed Currents invites viewers into a realm where fluid motion and shadow dance together in harmony. The sinuous, flowing forms ripple across the canvas like an undercurrent, cloaked in tones of deep grey and hints of silver. In Shadowed Currents, I aimed to explore the interplay between light and shadow, movement and stillness. This piece was inspired by the ever-shifting patterns in water and the way currents can carry both calm and turbulence within the same flow. Working with acrylic fluid art on canvas, I allowed the paint to find its own course, mirroring the organic paths found in nature.
