As a woman what inspires me about other women around me is the ones who aren't afraid to be themselves at all times. I like to keep inspiring women close to me and I am lucky to have met some incredible women along the way in my life. This work shows what it is to be a strong female power and how it feels to truly express yourself. Wherever you end up in life, never stop being you.

Originally from London, now living happily in Wollongong, Laura is a multi disciplinary artist who works from her home studio creating paintings with oil paints and drawings with soft pastels. Her loose yet delicate approach to realism is seen through not only her paintings but her pastel drawings as well. She pours her emotions into each work as she captures the folds, colours and values of her fabric studies to find beauty in the everyday.
