Original Artwork's Description

This little flower explosion was based on a few flower vase styles by Impressionist artists (especially Matisse). I didn't want to go too overboard but I really love the all-encompassing happiness and joy that it represents.

This painting is presented in a shadow box frame. Though it has a hanging device at the back, string or wire can be added on request.

Artist Bio

I am an emerging artist from Fremantle, Western Australia. Many of these paintings and drawings were done while studying at the David Giles Freedom School, where I have been growing my skills since 2017.

I have nurtured my creativity since childhood, and have pursued my artistic passion though graphic design, multimedia, film, and blogging, as well as studying media at Murdoch University; all while trying to find the perfect outlet for my experiences, expressing my past, and finding my future. After travelling the world and residing in London for a few years, I returned home more lost than ever, seeking something to guide me. Visual art has become this guide.

The pieces you see here all have their unique stories, telling you the thoughts and moments in a life I have experienced. I wanted to embrace the beauty and mystique of the everyday after overcoming the adversity of my past and I found this the best way possible with using paint and pastel. These pieces follow many threads of my life with an eclectic use of colour and brush work in the abstract and Impressionist style.

Prints of my work are also available to purchase on request. Please contact me directly for a quote.
