Being a keen bird watcher (sometimes we are called 'twitchers') when I saw a flock of brolgas at Tinchi Tamba Wetlands for the first time they totally captivated me. One bird observer said to me that the usual habitat of these beautiful birds was decreasing. However, it was a blessing in disguise because we were able to watch them in a situation which was close to an urban area.
