I always wonder what goes through my horses mind when they stare off into the distance. The intensity and concentration in their gaze. I tried to capture the moment something caught his attention and include the viewer in his curiosity.

My name is Laura Stewart
I am a self taught equine artist working with watercolour and colour pencils, although I do love painting all kinds of animals.
I live on a small property in the Wollondilly with my husband, young daughter two horses an old dog and many other animals. If I’m not inside painting my daughter and I are outside spending time with our horses.
