Flock of Seagulls Ltd Ed Print by Laural Retz - Anyone who's ever visited a Melbourne beach with a delicious meal of hot Fish 'N' Chips will have undoubtedly encountered an onslaught of feisty, verbose and persistent seagulls fighting amongst themselves for a chip you might happen to throw their way. Squawking and arguing these fearless birds have been artfully arranged like beautiful blooming white flowers into a glass vase to form a quirky still life artwork with a humorous twist. The moody colour palette was inspired by a typical overcast Melbourne day's weather and the original painting had real sand in the vase which was personally collected from Melbourne's iconic St Kilda Beach; here perfectly reproduced in this Limited Edition canvas print.
