Mango Chicken

Mango Chicken is a cheeky take in the Magpie Goose who arrives in the Northern Territory when the Mango trees are about to fruit, and leaves when they are at the tail end of the fruit bearing cycle. The arrival of the Magpie Geese symbolise the start of the Dry Season and their departure announces the start of the Wet Season. Their main food during this period are the over ripe mangoes that fall to the ground. Hence why they are affectionately known as Mango Chickens.
