Ocean Sunset

Ocean Sunset is a visual piece of art. From the rugged ocean to the steep red ochre coastal rock faces. Into the sands and dunes. Upward over a jagged rock face, into the burnt mountain bushland with tree stumps littered amongst the walking trails. Australian Contemporary Kamilaroi Dot Artist, now living on Larrakia country, in Garramilla , Northern Territory, Australia. My First Nation Aboriginal art is more of a neo-traditional Abstract interpretation of Australia’s first artists.
Painting using a bright pallet of colours, all which feed into a rich vibrancy is reflected in each and every artwork created.
Connection to country through my visual interpretation and use of colour. Connection to Community through the use of traditional Kamilaroi symbolism. Respect for my elders for allowing me to share their stories. The stories of dreaming.
