Artwork Description

Bruny Island glows in this monochromatic painting of soft creams, charcoal blacks and golds.
Your eye is drawn to the beautiful hexagonal hexagonal basalt columns and golden surf. My choice of a warm neutral monochromatic palette allows the strong composition of the bay to be highlighted.

Acrylic, ink, charcoal and gold leaf on canvas - as the gold leaf is a metallic it will change in the light.
Unframed - a black frame would highlight the charcoal, whilst a white or oak would create a soft edge.
