Gravitas is an abstraction of Paleobotany - fossil plants and flowers. It is part of the Dune Series.
In this huge artwork, several real fossils have been studied and included in shades of light beige, off white, ochre, soft terracotta, charcoal black and deep brown.

More and more detail can be seen when it is viewed closely.

This artwork is unstretched and ships in rolled in a tube.
The full size of each piece is 286 x 156cm - allowing a 6cm edge for stretching. The final stretched size of each would be 274 cm x 144cm. If hung horizontally - the height would be 274cm and the length would be 3m with a 12cm gap between the panels.

A small signature is visible on the RHS of the artwork and reverse of the artwork.
