Artwork Description

This impressionistic floral artwork is inspired the abundance of florals in beautiful vivid layers of deep magenta, a deep rose and softer pinks. The colours are fluid, like watercolour and there is a lot of detail when you look closely.

The background is a warm beige, and there is dark sage green, a softer olive green, some hints of a grey blue as well as small accents of charcoal to heighten the depth.

By using acrylics in a watercolour technique there is a softness to the layers of colours creating detail and depth. It is part of the Wild Series and there are many artworks in this series.
