This peaceful scene was based on a photo I took near Altona Beach. It was almost mirror flat except for a heron wading and gently causing ripples.
The sea is painted in a myriad of deep, dark blue hues - ranging from almost pure Prussian blue to Paynes grey.
The signature is on the bottom right hand side and blends in with the water but can be seen from close up.
