I became interested in Art in the 1980's and attended art classes with Judith Hoste, a well-known Central Coast artist. starting with oils, then moving to acrylics.
I have always been interested in birds and enjoy painting them. My other favourite subjects are waves and seascapes, using both oils and acrylics, Living by the sea and access to beautiful beaches I’m inspired all the time, and with the different seasons I'm never short of reference photos. I have been fortunate enough to sell my paintings abroad and locally.
In 2023 I was chosen as the winner of the Packers Award in the Grandma Moses Art Competition with a painting of Kookaburras.
