An Afternoon in Florence

I had heard about the light in Italy for many years. I went to Europe for the first time in 2018. When I arrived in Florence I understood the beauty of the light. In the late afternoon as the sun is going down the shadows are long and the streets look like they are bathed in gold. On this beautiful street there are many places where you can stop and have a glass of wine and watch the people go by- my favourite passtime.

Hello, welcome to my create world. I am a mad painter, I paint almost everyday. When I create my works I have the intention to evoke an atmosphere no matter what the subject matter is. In a landscape I want to capture perhaps, the time of the day through light and shadow or the feeling of an oncoming storm. If I am painting a figureative work I want to convey a feeling; nostolgia, introspection, or fun and joy.
