This horse is impatiently swishing it's tail to urge it's rider to mount and gallop across the fields to an unkown destination. It urgently wants to feel the freedom of the run and the wind sailing across it's face. It was born to be free.

I am a traditional tonal realist oil painter who is influenced by the masters of time past, the golden illustrators, many early 20th century painters and even more who are living masters today. With my knowledge always surpassing my ability I try to climb the ladder of learning and earn my painting miles to catch a piece of the mastery in my work of the artists I so admire.
