Artwork Description

This painting follows an overland track, through the sandy interior of Facing Island, an island off the coast of Gladstone, Qld. I spent a few days exploring the island and it has a very diverse landscape. I was drawn to this view of the track winding it's way through the sand and disappearing through the trees.
