I am a Melbourne based artist who took up art classes in 2016 after a lifetime interest in drawing and art.
I paint in oils and am inspired by nature, especially blooms from the garden, often set in interior still life arrangements and with interesting interplays of shadow and light.
Since being invited to participate in the ‘Artists in the Garden’ program at the Eurambeen Historic Homestead and Gardens Open Garden 2018, I have shared my art on social media, specifically on Instagram and made my paintings available to purchase, both through participating in art shows and also online.
I am greatly inspired by the interest in my work to keep painting and improving and progressing in my skills to explore other genres, although still life is my first love.
I adore the meditative and contemplative nature of the process of painting and can’t think of a more enjoyable way to spend the hours of the day.
