I'm proud to say this one is a finalist in the bluethumb art prize 2023!!

I just love flowers and finding ways to set them up in interesting ways to paint. The accessory objects here are two painting books of mine filled with beautiful art... Still Life by Amber Creswell Bell and Modern Australian Women Artists - the Andree Harkness Collection. I also included the bold cuttings of Tradescantia for their colour and shapes and the brown bottle because I love them too.
