Among The Five Lands

The Cinque Terre in Italy is a collection of five towns in the northern province of Spezia. They are famous for their beautiful ancient buildings running right up to the edge of the sea. I really relished the chance to paint the deep blue Mediterranean dusk, and I love the contrast of the town’s light and warmth and festivity.
