This piece has many influences, ranging from graffiti art to Japanese manga. It's an unusual style for me, using the techniques of fantasy and comic artists, and it really was a lot of fun to create. I feel as though there's a sort of sinister beauty in this one.

N.B. We regard graffiti art as an important and exciting branch of artistic endeavour and a source of inspiration for our work. We hope to play our part in helping the art world to acknowledge its importance, and the paintings that contain street graffiti are often inspired by works we have seen from around the world. When we use elements of other artists' graffiti we make every reasonable effort to contact the original street artist, although for obvious reasons this is not always feasible.
