Sunset Phases

‘Sunset Phases’ was inspired by magical coastal walks at sunset and the mesmerising images produced by plant silhouettes against a colourful sky and fading light. Snapshots from different phases of the same sunset can vary so much it is hard to tell if they were taken moments or days apart.

Born into a family of art lovers and artists; Lee is a multi art award finalist who continues to explore, diversify and create. Primarily a landscape artist obsessed with colourful sunsets and botanical forms; Lee is also a keen up cycler and found object enthusiast. Walks with the furbaby along beaches and through forests provide daily inspiration. After falling in love with surrealism in high school; Lee is still an occasional dabbler in the style, also enjoying a variety of abstract styles thanks to a fantastic online art community.
