Artwork Description

Born in 1357 in Tibet, Lama Tsong Khapa was a renowned Buddhist master who wrote the seminal Buddhist text "The Lam Rim Chen Mo". He founded the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. The beautiful setting reflects the artist's own experience of finding the Buddhist teachings here in Australia - rainbow lorikeets and cockatoos flying amongst the frangipani trees.

The painting has been varnished and professionally framed in a beautiful oak floating frame (walnut colour).
