Artwork Description

Reflections on the Yarra River in Melbourne in early morning light can be beautiful. I love photographing the rowers breaking through its magic mirror. In this photograph I have taken to making the scene more abstract by turning the image upside down to create this surreal look.
Prints can be done in other sizes or produced on stretched canvas on request.

Artist Bio

After more than 25 years working in Australia’s media as a photographer and Photo Editor I am now freelancing and working on various projects including “The Last of the Gippsland Lakes Fishermen” exhibition and photography for the 175th anniversary for Melbourne Botanical gardens book “Wonder” . I never leave home without a camera. My photography features the unique character and beauty of my hometown Melbourne. Be it the cities reflections at dawn on the Yarra, the natural beauty of our urban wildlife, to the city streets architecture in different light.
