Artwork Description

Tea tree can often appear as a tangled mess of confusing boughs and branches almost strangling anything it can reach. Along the foreshore of the Mornington Peninsula it is abundant which is where this photo was taken of the blue beach box surviving the clutches of the tea tree.

Artist Bio

After more than 25 years working in Australia’s media as a photographer and Photo Editor I am now freelancing and working on various projects including “The Last of the Gippsland Lakes Fishermen” exhibition and photography for the 175th anniversary for Melbourne Botanical gardens book “Wonder” . I never leave home without a camera. My photography features the unique character and beauty of my hometown Melbourne. Be it the cities reflections at dawn on the Yarra, the natural beauty of our urban wildlife, to the city streets architecture in different light.
